The 2004 Republican National Convention in New York City was more than a political pep rally. Half a million New Yorkers hit the streets under various banners in protest and support of countless causes. As a New Yorker fed up with the hate-breeding federal administration, I could no longer stay quiet. My rage is what got me out onto the streets; my camera is what kept me there. While I cannot claim that my eye was unbiased, I did try to represent all points of view. Some of these pictures show the best of people, while others show the worst. Look at the thumbnails first, and try to guess the role each person was playing - some may surprise you. I leave you to draw your own conclusions from these photos. Feedback is welcome.
